"Life is a rollercoaster... Juz gotta ride it..." - Ronan Keating

I must agree with what Ronan Keating sang in his song 'Life is a rollercoaster'. 2008 has been a blended year of ups & down, just like taking a ride in the nerve-wrecking roller coaster.

The 1st quarter of the year began well, I must say.. With a satisfying temporary job assignment @ SGH pharmacy and unexpected yet great 'A' Level results, what more can I ask? I must thank GOD for these best birthday gifts I've ever received this year.

For the subsequent months, it was a horrible period. Yes, going through BMT sounds like nothing now, but I cannot imagine that I could pull through the seemingly long 2 months. I cannot believe that I could pass through 2-weeks confinement, field camp, SOC & IPPT with Gold.

Things turn for the better now, as 2008 ends with a promotion for me. In a way, you will feel that your contributions are appreciated and get rewarded for that.

Nothing to look forward to in 2009, as I guess it will probably a busy year for me. Nevertheless, I hope it will remain a great year for me! Haha...

"Goodbye to you... Goodbye to everything... " - Michelle Branch

All in all, I will kiss GOODBYE to 2008!

What a year!

In the music era, we saw the comeback of Britney Spears and her belting out of hit singles like 'Womanizer' which shot to No.1 within days, Madonna chilling out with Justin Timerlake in '4 minutes', Duffy begging for 'Mercy' in this Sex & the City soundtrack and Katy Perry giving us the 'Hot & Cold' side of her.
In the entertainment era, we saw the final reunion of the kids in 'High School Musical 3 : Senior Year', plenty of Walt Disney shows such as 'Bolt' and the fair share of comedies like 'Get Smart'. Closer to home, we had the champion drama serial '小娘惹', causing many to hog the TV screen.
Yes, I've got my own faves for the year 2008!

From yahoo news:
"Britney Spears is on course to claim her fifth number one album in America as her Circus threatens to limit Kanye West's reign on the Billboard chart to just a week.

Countdown experts predict Spears' sixth studio album will match last week's sales of West's 808s & Heartbreak, which debuted at number one on Wednesday (03Dec08) with first-week sales of 450,000.

Spears' comeback album sold 219,000 copies in its first day on release, which fell on the pop star's 27th birthday (02Dec08).

If strong sales continue and the Toxic singer does rocket to the top of the U.S. album chart next week (10Dec08), she'll join the likes of Barbra Streisand, Madonna and Janet Jackson among the ladies who have scored more than four number ones."
